Samsung refreshed its Galaxy J series of smartphones yesterday. The new lineup consists of three phones (for now) – Galaxy J3 (2017), Galaxy J5 (2017), and Galaxy J7 (2017) – which bring in improved physical design and better specifications.
The Galaxy J3 (2017), which succeeds last year’s Galaxy J3 (2016), drops the Super AMOLED display in favor of a TFT display, but comes with a vastly improved processor as well as increased RAM and storage. It also features higher resolution front- and rear-facing cameras, and a newer version of Android. There’s still no fingerprint reader, though.
